Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (Level K) to join the Operational Efficiency Team in Everett and Renton, WA. The successful candidate will work primarily in Everett but will be required to extend support in Renton based on business needs.

This role will be strategic to the development and implementation standards across the BCA production system. It is essential for driving excellence in our manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will be a leader that is able to partner cross-functionally with other organizations to support programs, delivery centers, and fabrication. A successful manager will work to achieve team and program goals, while prioritizing and continuously fostering a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. Candidates will align with Boeing’s Values and Behaviors, facilitate large group activities, and possess or be willing to develop expertise in manufacturing compliance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers

  • Analyzes and interprets data

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Everett and Renton, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles

  • 5+ years of experience leading stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • Experience using Microsoft Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

  • Experience working in Manufacturing Support Organizations (LSCC, Supply Chain, Engineering)

  • Understanding of One BPS process and principles

  • Prior Production experience

  • Demonstrated skills in Communication, Team Building, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationships, and Ethical Leadership

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for process improvement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $112,200 - $151,800
