The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Wiring Manufacturing System Software Developer to join the team in Everett, WA.

The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization is seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our Wiring Manufacturing System product team in Everett, WA. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical components that drive the success of our Wiring Manufacturing Systems Product. As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to define, design, configure, implement, and sustain innovative software solutions that support the evolving needs of a leading aerospace and defense company.

We are looking for a passionate software developer who is eager to deepen their understanding of the Electrical Fabrication business. Success in this role requires active engagement in collaborative workshops and effective communication with diverse stakeholders throughout the requirements gathering and implementation phases.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Apply expertise in Electrical Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality-focused processes and applications to support software development efforts

  • Conduct thorough business process analysis and functional mapping to align software solutions with organizational needs

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development lifecycle principles and best practices

  • Develop and execute functional software tests to ensure high-quality deliverables

  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, bridging gaps to ensure shared understanding

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet project goals

  • Demonstrate advanced software development skills with versatility across diverse technical processes and solutions

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with software development in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools

  • 3+ years of experience with Software Testing or Software Verification

  • 3+ years of experience in post-production sustainment support

  • 3+ years of experience with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment and directly involved in gathering requirements

  • 3+ years of experience solving complex business problems and delivering solutions via technology

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • Experience working with cross functional agile teams to deliver cohesive system solutions

  • Experience as a self-starter and ability to work independently

  • Experience with Electrical Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality processes

  • Experience integrating cross-organizational applications and external systems

  • Experience with Agile work environments and methodologies

  • Experience with test development and execution tools to enhance software quality

  • Experience with Web Application Development, Oracle, SQL Server, C++, and MS Access

  • Experience with Azure Development Operations (DevOps) Server and GitLab Source Code Management

  • Experience with database management and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making

  • Experience with clear communication and time management in dynamic team environment while staying adaptable, open to new ideas, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
