Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our In-Service Supply Chain team in Everett, WA.

This position will directly manage and oversee a team of Procurement Agents and Procurement Analysts supporting our new In-Service Integration team.

Your role manages supply chain professionals ensuring safety, high quality and efficient operations. This role involves collaborating and working with various teams including BCA Supply Chain, BGS Supply Chain, Fleet Chief Office, Suppliers and Operators.

Successful candidates will have interpersonal and coaching skills that empower their teams to complete work safely and with First Pass Quality. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess high level analytical and problem solving skills as well as project management experience.

Our team is currently hiring for a Level K Procurement Agent Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate Operations Procurement Agents and Procurement Analysts in project management, operational readiness and supplier administration
  • Manage, mentor and develop a team responsible for activities impacting the organization (data visualization, operator and supplier surveys impacting supplier support to the aftermarket, 737 and 777X Entry into Service (EIS) supplier readiness, notice of defect determination repository management, process set-up and deployment of work movement, warranty decision, change board and compass action processes integrated other supply chain organizations, and additional duties as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with suppliers, operators, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports 
  • Ensure that our supply chain is positioned to support aftermarket demands
  • Support strategy definition and execution for our responsible organization
  • Collaborate respectfully with great communication and experience working across multi-disciplined teams 
  • Influences the team culture by leading and modeling Boeing Values and Behaviors
  • Maintains effectiveness and adjusts easily when experiencing changes in work task, processes, and/or requirements
  • Do Cool Things and Shape The Future of our Supply Chain Team 
  • This position requires proven ability to operate in a collaborative environment developing strong relationships across teams and functions to ensure overall success of business objectives.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Fulfillment, or Program Management
  • 3+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role 
  • Experience in identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teams
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally
  • Experience within a fast-paced team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with program leadership, internal and external customer representatives, and development teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement 
  • 3+ years of experience applying LEAN principles and/or Standard/Standardized work 
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects utilizing standard project management tools 
  • Supply chain experience in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment

Summary pay range (Level K) $129,600 - $150,500
