Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Supply Chain Chemicals & Composites Contracts team in Everett, WA.

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Agent to lead procurement activities and own multiple high-visibility risks and issues related to chemicals and composite materials. This role combines deep technical procurement expertise, supplier risk management, cross-functional leadership, and regulatory/compliance oversight.

Our teams are currently hiring Lead (Level 5) Procurement Agent.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive resolution of high-visibility supplier issues and risks (quality, delivery, specification nonconformance, regulatory noncompliance, sustainability concerns, obsolescence).
  • Develop and execute mitigation plans for material supply risks, including supplier qualification, dual-sourcing strategies, safety stock recommendations, and contingency planning.
  • Act as primary interface between supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, quality and internal/external suppliers.
  • Lead supplier risk assessments and audits for chemical and composite suppliers; coordinate corrective action plans and closure verification.
  • Maintain and escalate risk/issue status to senior leadership; prepare executive-level summaries and recommendations for decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to earlier career procurement agents and cross-functional project teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on chemical and composite materials, substitutes, emerging suppliers, and regulatory trends.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 12+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes
  • 12+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) 
  • 7+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • 7+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership  
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
  • Domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products

Summary pay range (Level 5): $156,600 - $181,850
