Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for an Project Management Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Digital Engineering Organization based in Everett, Washington.

The Digital Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager that will help drive the overall Digital Engineering PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) strategy for BCA and the Enterprise; lead the team in evaluating new technologies; prototype solutions for cross-bedrock engineering integrations; Identify/prioritize and manage projects for implementation, as related to 2nd Century Enterprise Systems (2CES). In this position you will define and develop existing and future state processes and tools focusing on 3DX and BCA Product Development.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.
  • Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements. Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Azure Dev Ops (ADO). Building, maintaining and refine backlogs.
  • 3 or more years of experience operating in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience acting in Agile leadership roles of Project Manager, Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a leadership role (team lead, project manager.)
  • 3 or more years of experience collecting, interpreting data, and managing medium-to-high-level projects for Executives or Senior Leadership.
  • 3 or more years of experience in managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools.
  • 3 or more years of experience with executive level communication including presentation development and report outs.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in managing relationships with business leaders and executives; leading complex projects; enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to drive several cross-functional teams; programs and work streams towards a unifying set of objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Implementation experience with SAFe Framework.
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), ITG Clarity and BORIS.
  • Self-starting attitude with desire to learn new statements of work.
  • Experience using Agile and SAFe methodology.
  • Experience utilizing BORIS to document Risk, Issues, Opportunities.
  • Experience with executive level communication including presentation development and report outs.
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
  • Experience with work movement process

Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $101,150 - $136,850

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350
