Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ERSC) Business Operations team in Everett, WA.

The selected candidate will lead project execution for assigned projects. You will work with leadership to define requirements, build out charters and drive projects from start to finish.

As a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be committed and engaged, always focusing on supporting teams to deliver high-value products, with high quality, on time, and within budget.

Our team is currently hiring a Level 4 Project Management Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead all phases for the assigned projects from scope definition through implementation and lessons learned
  • Identify scope, stakeholders’ s and team members’ s Responsibility, Accountability, Authority for the project
  • Lead approval through the Change Control Board gated process (including readiness level assessments, accurate cost-benefit analysis for the business case, and accurate Key Performance Indicators for managing project success)
  • Develop a plan and schedule
  • Hold regular meetings with stakeholders for Performance-to-Plan reviews
  • Lead removal of hurdles for the project team (elevate as appropriate)
  • Manage Risks, Issues and Opportunities
  • Communicate progress to leadership as needed
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting and performance for capital projects
  • Continuously improving business processes
  • Provide ad hoc support as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 10+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
  • Clear and confident communicator to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
  • 10+ years of experience in performing risk assessments and risk management
  • 10+ years of experience managing high-level schedules and master phasing plans (MPP)
  • 10+ years of experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other project management tools
  • 10+ years of experience working across different business units and disciplines to drive collaboration and results
  • 10+ years of experience functioning in an environment where first-pass quality of work is expected

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Project management certification (PMP, PMI, PMBOK, PMBP, etc)
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex integration projects including developing innovative solutions to project impediments

Summary pay range (Level 4): $122,850 - $132,800
