The Boeing Company, Electromagnetic Effects organization is seeking highly motivated and talented Safety and Airworthiness Support Technicians (Associate or Experienced) to join our team in Everett, WA.

Position Overview:

As an EME Certification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our certification processes. Collaborate closely with EME Engineering Unit Members and Certification Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop comprehensive Certification Plans, deliverables, and essential documentation. You will support the EME Certification Lead in overseeing and managing various certification tasks, while also developing insightful status and metric reports. Your coordination with certification members across multiple functions and programs will be vital in applying standard practices and compliance methods. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, supports, enhances, and facilitates execution of safety, regulatory, and airworthiness activities, processes, and tools.

  • Monitors, compiles, and interprets global safety, regulatory, and airworthiness data, trends, and activities in advance of applicable technical stakeholder review.

  • Responds to routine safety, regulatory, and airworthiness inquiries from internal and external stakeholders within documented guidance; triages more technical inquiries to technical subject matter experts to resolve.

  • Retrieves and compiles certification and safety data for regulatory review.

  • Monitors, tracks, and facilitates integration for safety, certification and regulatory processes and activities.

  • Compiles, retrieves, and summarizes materials and data for technical briefings, reviews, and correspondence.

  • Collaborates across multiple functions to develop certification documents and obtains approval from authorized individuals.

  • Reviews documents, within documented guidance, for compliance with applicable requirements in advance of submission.

  • Participates in identifying opportunities for improvement to safety and regulatory activities, processes, and tools.

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Background in Data Management of large projects

  • Experience with Project management tools.

  • Experience at working with a cross functional group of individuals.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail ensuring the accuracy and completeness of certification documentation and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate degree or bachelor degree is preferred

  • Familiarity with Regulatory and Certification SOW

  • Familiarity with Boeing DCCS tool a plus

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range:

Associate (Level 2): $73,950 - $100,050

Experienced (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
