Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Program Compliance and Safety Manager to join our team in Everett, Washington.

The 777 Program Safety and Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting internal and external regulatory audits, leading program safety initiatives, oversight of Safety Risk Management projects, and maintaining compliance across 777 Manufacturing. This person will ensure our processes meet safety and compliance standards, and implement improvements where needed. A successful candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships internally and externally. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all safety sweeps are completed and ensure follow up of any risks
  • Lead a team of compliance, safety and SRM (Safety Risk Management) analysts with the following priorities
  • Ensure all compliance sweeps are completed and ensure follow up of any risks
  • Lead or support FOD (Foreign Object Debris) Initiatives at a program level as required. 
  • Support and improve program tool control
  • Clear communication of compliance expectations are provided to the shop floor through standard processes.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by communicating audit schedules to leadership and preparing the shop to ensure compliance prior to the audit.
  • Support any necessary follow-up work from audit findings, ensuring issues are addressed on schedule
  • Act as the representative for the 777 manufacturing team in regards to regulatory compliance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across projects and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing environment 

Shift:

This is 1st shift; however, it’s a non-standard schedule 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $126,000 - $154,000
