Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an SAP Business Implementation Senior Manager to join our BCA Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in Everett, WA.

The successful candidate will lead the product team responsible for the Supply Chain business implementation of SAP. Integrating a direct team of experts with vertical Supply Chain capability teams, this role is critical to the supply chain's SAP enabled digital transformation.

Blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, this position is expected to work across functions at all levels, including senior leadership across Supply Chain, Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S), Finance, Fabrication, and Quality.

Our team is currently hiring for a Level M SAP Business Implementation Senior Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Product Team responsible for the successful business implementation of SAP across Boeing Commercial Airplanes
  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees and mid-level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. 

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supplier Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product) 
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership 
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale change management and business transformation projects
  • 5+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross business domains with executive interface experience
  • Domestic and international travel 15% as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • ASCM (APICS) CSCP or CPIM certification, or other relevant certifications
  • Experience with SAP supported business transformation
  • Experience in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)
  • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals
  • Ability to develop and maintain senior leadership and executive relationships across business function
  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (only weighted question will be the one below with the applicable amount of years for the next level up)
  • 3+ year of experience applying lean principles and practices to business capability development and system integration

Summary pay range (Level M) $177,650 – $240,350
