The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Information Technology Product Manager to join the team in Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; or Renton, WA.  

As a Senior Information Technology Product Manager, you will lead the forefront of digital transformation within our Electrical Engineering IT product domain. In this critical role, you will drive innovation and operational excellence by replacing outdated legacy systems with a strategic mix of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom-built solutions, seamlessly modernizing engineering workflows.

You will work together with electrical engineers at the Boeing Electrical Technical Center and IT product teams across the United States and India to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance Boeing’s engineering capabilities in a complex, high-quality environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Information Technology (IT), product management, a solid understanding of electrical engineering processes, and a proven track record leading complex digital transformation projects within an agile software development setting, specifically using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management for electrical engineering IT solutions, from ideation through development, deployment, and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, IT infrastructure, and business stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), cloud computing, and data analytics within electrical engineering workflows

  • Manage product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business goals

  • Conduct user feedback sessions to inform product decisions and enhance user experience

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful product delivery

  • Monitor product performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to optimize product functionality and adoption

  • Lead management efforts and provide training/support to ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools and processes

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements relevant to electrical engineering IT systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience as a product owner and/or product manager in agile development

  • 5+ years of experience leading cross functional teams

  • 5+ years of experience working with Agile/SAFe Processes

  • 3+ years of experience in following software development life cycle (i.e., application development & support)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related field

  • Experience working with IT solutions for electrical engineering or related technical domains

  • Experience working with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data analytics

  • Experience working with all levels of stakeholders from individual contributors to executives  

  • Experience with strong communication and presentation skills, along with expertise in analytical thinking and problem-solving

  • Experience working with SAFe Agile or related certification

  • Experience working with matrixed global organization

  • Experience working with cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks

  • Experience working with Siemens Capital or Siemens Teamcenter products

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $131,750 - $178,250
