Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Senior Project Management Specialist(Level 4)to join the 777-9 Business Operations Team supporting the development, certification, and delivery of the 777-9 in Everett, WA.

This position will support initiatives related to both Business Operations goals and engineering performance. A successful candidate will have a robust background in Project Management, a flexible and resilient mindset, and the ability to negotiate, communicate, and drive decision-making across diverse groups. This is a challenging and dynamic position with room for long-term growth and advancement and we are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, collaborating with diverse groups, and tackling complex problems.

Position Responsibilities:


The duties of the position and their approximate time commitment are listed below. These are estimates that will change regularly given program needs and requirements.

  • (60%) Lead on Internal Projects/Schedules: Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects. This includes managing high-level schedules for internal IPT support, coordinating stakeholders internal and external to Business Operations, and creating/maintaining methods for tracking and reporting internal progress to plan. Coordinate with Business Operations management to establish priorities and timelines for internal initiatives; track projects through completion.

  • (20%) Reporting and Presenting: In collaboration with Business Operations management, prepare reports and presentations for high-level stakeholders (engineering management/executives), focusing on clearly communicating actions, schedules, and progress to planPresent reports in regular meetings and special sessions.

  • (20%) Other Duties: Includes training and mentoring newer employees, assisting integrated scheduling in performing risk and opportunity evaluations, working with Business Operations Management to establish priority statement of work, leading efforts to accomplish large-scale schedule updates, etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ or more years of related Project, Program or Business Operations experience 

  • 6+ years of experience coachingand mentoring team membersand influencing senior leaders 

  • 6+ years of developing data driven Microsoft Powerpoint presentation materials and presenting to senior leadership 

  • 6+ years of experience coordinating complex, large projects with diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in airplane development, aircraft certification, and/or aerospace project management.

  • Advanced degree or certification in project and/or program management.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $118,000 - $128,000
