Boeing’s Global Real Estate, Planning and Strategy organization is seeking a visionary Senior Strategic Planning Manager to inspire, empower, and lead a high-performing team within our dynamic and collaborative Enterprise Planning group supporting either the Everett or Renton, WA sites.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive strategic planning and execution across a diverse, high-impact portfolio of facilities in Everett, WA. You will leverage your expertise in long-range business planning, real estate strategy, and operational excellence to optimize space utilization, enhance infrastructure capabilities, and support Boeing’s mission-critical growth in this key region. 


As a key strategic partner, you will influence site-specific decision-making by integrating data-driven insights, advanced forecasting, and innovative planning methodologies. Your leadership will ensure alignment between facilities planning and Boeing’s broader business objectives, enabling sustainable growth and operational agility at our Everett site.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee activities within facilities planning, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-range business objectives and strategic growth plans 
  • Develops comprehensive project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals that support both immediate needs and future scalability
  • Drives continuous process improvements by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices to enhance operational performance and supports enterprise-wide strategic initiatives 
  • Drives alignment with other Global Real Estate and Facilities teams, including Business Unit Relationship Managers, Facilities Management and the Construction and Engineering teams
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic priorities 
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, ensuring they support long-term sustainability, innovation, and compliance with corporate standards
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees by cultivating a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, and continuous learning 
  • Leads with a Seek, Speak, and Listen (SS&L) mindset, promoting open communication and strategic dialogue to drive alignment and engagement across teams                                  


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders 
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team 


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher 
  • 10+ years of experience coaching and developing others 
  • 10+ years of experience working in a dynamic environment 
  • 10+ years of experience leading diverse teams to include salaried and hourly employees 
  • Experience within project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans 
  • Experience as a strategic business partner with strong customer support, and excellent teamwork 
  • Experience managing on-site staff as well as remote staff
  • Experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) 
  • Experience with real estate project management and space planning 
  • Experience with Manufacturing Planning
  • Experience in working with state and local officials in support of planning activities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $156,400 – $211,600
