Boeing's Safety, Security, & Airworthiness (SSA) organization is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Compliance/Certification to join their Regulatory Administration System Oversight Team in Everett, WA.

The individual will have the opportunity to contribute to critical monitoring initiative and collaborate with industry – leading professional and regulatory agencies.

Position Overview:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and integrate airworthiness and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Review complex regulatory and customer requirements, evaluating their impact on company products and services.
  • Analyze regulatory and certification technical data for completeness and alignment with applicable requirements.
  • Research, investigate, and monitor compliance processes and reported potential risks.
  • Engage with regulators on complex programs to shape certification strategies, approaches, activities, and artifacts.
  • Provide advanced technical support, training, tools, and resources to the delegated approval organization.
  • Establish and promote global regulatory advocacy strategies, training, tools, and methods.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on complex safety and airworthiness matters.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, project administrators, and regulators (including international authorities) to determine monitoring strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate technical messaging and partner with the FAA on regulatory matters.
  • Own, manage, and develop technical aptitude to execute process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.).
  • Ensure proper coordination across products, platforms, and functional areas to promote a culture of compliance and application of procedures and FAA guidance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with Design Engineering and Regulatory through all phases of certification; Amended Type Certification (ATC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC) and Military Type Certification (MTC)? · Knowledge of software development and Digital Services product portfolio is preferred
  • Experience leading multi-site groups, overseeing regulatory compliance and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies
  • Experience extracting and compiling data from multiple sources
  • Experience leading cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Experience performing risk assessments and risk management
  • Experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $141,100.00 - $190,900.00
