Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst (Level 4) to join the Supply Chain Work Movement team in Everett, WA on first shift.  

This role will require strong analytical capabilities, data fluency, and technical acumen to drive insights and process improvements. You’ll leverage data visualization tools, SQL, and supply chain analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimize operational performance. Position Responsibilities:

o Serves as an integrated line of business team member ensuring that inventory, production, and integrated schedule information needs are understood, complete specifications are identified, and that appropriate analysis, research, report, or other support is identified to address those needs. Analyzes and documents requirements through workshops, research, data gathering, and brainstorming activities. Designs and documents customer reporting and analytic requests by defining, creating, evaluating, and selecting alternatives. 

oTransforms complex Business Intelligence requests, both internal and external, into useful products with actionable outcomes that utilize the most credible and efficient data sources. Identifies and creates new data objects, reports, and charts. Presents report results to Senior Management.

oIdentifies actionable issues through data interpretation and research. Provides summary of trends, observations, and actionable items on complex reporting issues and development reports. Applies advanced data analysis and statistical techniques to answer any number of complex data questions and initiatives. Validates that output meets Business needs. Partners with Work Movement Team & Directors to “dig deeper” into output and identifies areas of further analysis.

oUtilizes a variety of software applications and data sources to develop Business Intelligence methodologies, analysis and KPIs.

oActively develops new tools and system enhancements, troubleshoots and solves data issues.

oSeeks out, identifies, documents, and initiates resolutions to data quality issues that are discovered during report and analysis development.

oReport KPIs and aggregate predictive analytics / trends from multiple data sources and scenarios.

oAbility to go beyond basic data visualization to build robust, insightful reports (Pivot Tables, Stack Charts, S-Curves, Look-Ahead reports) while using conditional formatting and calculated field functions.

oKnows how to merge, append, and transform data to build reports, while creating workspaces to share data / charts.

oAbility to Connect / Transform data from multiple data sources; can change data types to match / compare and aggregate data

oAbility to create data relationships and perform simple DAX (Data Analysis eXpressions) to create custom calculations, define business logic, and enable advanced, dynamic data analysis within data models.

oFamiliar with finding, manipulating and correcting errors in “M” Language using Advanced Query Editor.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

o 4+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

o4+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership

o2+ years of experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

o2+ years of experience writing SQL queries or working with relational databases

o2+ Experience using data to inform strategic decisions and process improvements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

oBachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree

o7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

o1+ years of manufacturing operations

oProject Management Certification

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $130,000- $176,000
