Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Operations First Line Manager to join our Everett Delivery Center Supply Chain team in Everett, WA.

The successful candidate will lead the Offsite Paint Supply Chain team that is responsible for managing daily operations of all Offsite Paint Suppliers. The team is geographically spread across Puget Sound and California providing onsite support at Supplier locations and ensuring supplier performance to meet the broader airplane paint schedules across all BCA Programs. This unique Supply Chain role has the ability to directly impact Boeing Commercial Airplanes overall business plan performance. In this role, you’ll work closely with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication and accountability across all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Supply Chain Operations, Global Field Ops, Manufacturing Paint Operations, or related functions. This candidate should have experience communicating and motivating others to meet challenging business goals and objectives; the ability to handle multiple and competing tasks simultaneously; and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities for Offsite Paint Suppliers
  • Manages Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to supplier assessment, supplier capability and ensuring suppliers deliver on time and in compliance with Compliance and contract requirements.
  • Manages Supplier daily operational performance, rate readiness and quality improvement plans.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with internal & external stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in fulfillment operations, program management, or supply chain management
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
  • 3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 3+ years of experience with Global Field Ops, Manufacturing Paint Ops, or other related functions
  • Proven ability to execute on commitments
  • Experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results

Summary pay range (Level K) $125,100 - $146,400
