Boeing Commercial Airplane is seeking a Mid-Level orSenior Technical Field Representative to join our team in Everett, WA. This role will interact with different suppliers at multiple locations in Puget Sound, overseeing tooling asset acquisitions for the Boeing company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in on-site supplier assessments to identify supplier capability and to support Boeing procurement strategy.

  • Evaluates overall supplier health and resources to determine viability.

  • Identifies problems, develops recovery plans and monitors supplier performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements.

  • Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance supplier capability.

  • Provides or recommends training and mentoring on business and manufacturing practices to improve or enhance supplier delivery performance.

  • Monitors activities to ensure that suppliers produce conforming and compliant products on time.

  • Monitors emergent offload or overload suppliers and provides technical assistance to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.

  • Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.

  • Communicates across functions to report status and concerns.

  • Oversees work movement projects by verifying that the elements of the work plan are credible and complete in order to accomplish a seamless transition.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years’ of experience reading, interpreting or working from engineering drawings/blue prints or 3 dimensional Computer Aided Design applications

  • 2+ years’ of experience working in a tooling, manufacturing or fabrication environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience with project management

  • PMP certification

  • Experience working with suppliers

  • Bachelor’s degree

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

  • Summary pay range for Mid-level (Level 3): $101,150 – $136,850

  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
