Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Leader Of Supply Chain, Global Warehousing and Logistics Government to support our site in Forest Park, GA.

This Boeing Global Services (BGS) supply chain leadership position will lead teams at BGS-G warehouse sites that are responsible for the interaction with the on-site 3PL, Supply Chain and Program Leadership on multiple international, domestic, and defense logistics agency (DLA) performance based logistics PBL and transactional contracts. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads planning and integration activities for profit and loss stand-alone support program(s) or major support business/program element where business needs dictate.

  • Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.

  • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to Program Management.

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of total related experience.

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with or on cost reduction initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience executing budget management principles and practices

  • 3+ years of experience managing Defense Programs & knowledge of Defense Systems

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management

  • 3+ years of experience with Warehouse Operations

  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong collaboration skills and mindset to grow the current environment of best practice sharing and alignment between BGS government and commercial fleet care services

  • Experience developing and implementing affordability strategies

Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Travel:

This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $138,000 - $197,000
