Boeing Global Services is looking for an Experienced GMD Production Controller that will support sustainment and maintenance activities for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System at Fort Greely, AK. The specialist will coordinate and integrate maintenance, logistics, and engineering activities across government and contractor teams to ensure weapon system readiness, safety, and compliance with technical and security policies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for GMD ground systems, launch facilities, and associated support equipment.

  • Track system readiness, maintenance actions, parts status, and materiel discrepancies; report status to program leadership and stakeholders.

  • Develop, review, and update maintenance plan and work packages to ensure compliance with system availability and configuration requirements.

  • Coordinate supply support and parts requisitions for critical spares.

  • Participate in system-level test planning.

  • Maintain configuration management records and support condition-based maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance efforts.

  • Provide after-action reports and recommendations to leadership; support continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Support on-call and surge maintenance operations as required by mission needs.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • On-site work at Fort Greely, Alaska with possible exposure to outdoor and inclement weather conditions.

  • Ability to climb ladders and access elevated platforms.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, systems integration, logistics, or sustainment of complex ground-based military systems, missile defense, radar, or comparable aerospace/defense systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with maintenance planning.

  • Minimumof 5 years' experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or related technical discipline.

    • Experience specifically with maintenance or operations of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System.

    • Experience with formal test planning and execution.

    • Experience with the GMD maintenance management system (MIROR)

    • Proficient written and oral communication skills; able to prepare technical reports, work packages, and brief senior leadership.

    • Strong organizational, project management, and team coordination skills.

    Typical Education/Experience

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

    Summary Pay Range: 93,500 - 126,500
