The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Technical Publications Delivery Specialist in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The specialist will identify document and technical data delivery requirements based on customer and contract guidelines, gather and assemble technical documents, and perform routine quality checks. Responsibilities also include completing the release of customer technical end-products in the appropriate format per contract requirements, maintaining delivery records, and administering customer access to online technical content and the technical data library. This role is crucial for ensuring that technical data products meet military program needs while adhering to quality and contractual standards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepares and compiles final technical end-products for delivery

  • Gathers general data to support production and delivery of end product

  • Complies with program directives, sales orders, or other requests to ensure external customer contractual agreements for technical documents are met

  • Reviews vendor supplied materials to ensure general contractual compliance

  • Performs final quality check on data from writer or editor or on other data products

  • Produces final products in digital format or other formats per contract requirements

  • Maintains delivery record data files; receives, files and retains reproducible according to contract requirements

  • Maintains general technical data library

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years or experience in MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

  • 1+ years of experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro for manipulating, editing and cropping PDF files

  • Be able to lift 35 pound filled shipping boxes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associates degree or higher

  • Prior publications delivery experience

  • Experienced with producing CD-ROM disks for technical data deliveries

  • 3+ years’ experience with project coordination

  • Proofreading skills including exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Summary pay range: $60,350 - $81,650
