Boeing Global Services team is seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist. to become part of the Shipping and receiving team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We support the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of support equipment for a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft - everything from F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets to V-22 rotorcraft. The role focuses on kitting and material management for the production floor, analyzing and planning material requirements, and improving supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production floor material needs through kitting, accurate demand planning, and timely order release.

  • May be required to make and pick up deliveries in company vehicle at job site locations. Able to lift and carry items up to 35lbs.

  • Analyze material requirements and maintain part-number attributes to ensure correct demand signals and delivery schedules.

  • Execute and maintain production schedules; analyze available resources and manage shop capacity to support on-time delivery.

  • Develop and control inventory plans that balance company, customer, and supplier capabilities to optimize inventory levels, turns, and unit cost.

  • Review and act on material planning system output; release and maintain orders as needed.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal customers to resolve supply issues and support production requirements.

  • Perform inventory and materials management processes, including disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.

  • Support and help implement process improvements and new SCM tools and techniques to enhance supply chain performance.

  • Assist in incorporating change and planning decisions while continuously developing SCM knowledge and analytical skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:
This position is located in a Fort Walton Beach, FL and that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:
Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $52,700 - $71,300
