Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a TeamLead Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Ft. Worth, TX.

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist completes initial part verification and identification on outgoing shipments according to shipping processes and procedures. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products.
  • Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
  • Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
  • Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation.
  • Records information as it pertains to shipments, including weight, charges, damages, or any discrepancies.
  • Research and record on time delivery and dept. metrics.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Oversees resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies.
  • Escalates critical issues to the appropriate level and engages with the correct stakeholders.
  • Leads coordination and confirmation of receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
  • Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies.
  • Develops solutions to mitigate errors.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6-8 years of related work experience
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience
  • Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Experience in International trade, export, and logistics
  • Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English
  • Proficient MS Office applications ability
  • Warehouse Experience
  • Experience operating material handling equipment
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to solve complex issues 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Education: High School Diploma / Equivalent, preferred
