Boeing Poland is looking for an Engineering Data Scientist to join our team in Gdansk Engineering Technology Center.

We’re looking for an Engineering Data Scientist (mid level) to support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development for Supplier Engineering initiatives. This role focuses on working with supplier data, building Tableau dashboards, and supporting data pipelines and reporting processes.

This is a hands-on role, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with data, paying attention to details, and taking ownership of well-defined tasks while collaborating with the team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs data analysis integral to the research, development, test and evaluation of company products or manufacturing processes.

  • Investigates and applies best fit methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models.

  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. 

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's action.

  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

  • 2+ years engineering work experience.

  • Experience with SQL.

  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.

  • Experience in designing, simulation, testing, analysis, architecture, and integration.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English language.

  • Able to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python for data analysis or automation.

  • Familiarity with Dataiku or similar platforms.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently when needed.

  • Experience with Git.
