Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

At Jeppesen Foreflight, our vision is flawless flight, and our mission is to improve safety and sustainability of commercial, business, and military aviation. Our software is at the heart of navigation, planning, and operations. Your last airline flight was almost certainly planned, dispatched, or navigated using our software.

Our Airline Planning & Operations products create crew and aircraft schedules. Airlines count on us to optimize their resource plans, balancing efficiency, regulations, union rules, maintenance, and crew wellbeing. We optimize the schedules for over 460,000 crew members and thousands of aircraft each month.

We’re looking for a strategic and insights-driven Product Marketing Manager with a focus on inbound marketing. In this role, you’ll be the voice of the customer and market inside the company, translating insights into actionable intelligence that drives product strategy, sharpens our positioning, and sets our go-to-market teams up for success.

This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts that shape what we build, how we talk about it, and how we win. If you're passionate about understanding aviation markets, obsessing over customer needs, and influencing roadmaps with data and empathy, we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling positioning, narratives, and messaging frameworks that differentiate our products and resonate with target personas

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Be the expert on the aviation market landscape. Track competitors, trends, customer behaviors, and macro shifts. Package insights to guide product and business strategy

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Be a critical bridge between product, sales, marketing, and customer success. Make sure all teams are aligned on what we’re building, why it matters, and how to talk about it

  • Voice of Customer & Voice of Sales: Design and lead programs that capture the authentic voice of our customers and sales teams — through interviews, surveys, advisory boards, and win/loss analysis

  • Roadmap Development: Surface, synthesize, and prioritize unmet customer needs. Collaborate with Product Management to influence roadmap and drive customer-centric innovation

  • Growth & Adoption: Partner with brand and growth marketing on outbound marketing and advertising strategies and programs to drive awareness, adoption and long term engagement

  • Enablement & Strategy Support: Contribute to strategic planning and go-to-market readiness by driving key projects and deliverables

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite a few days a week. At the moment 3 days per week. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

What we’re looking for:

  • Top-flight communication skills that demonstrate conciseness, creativity, and credibility

  • Proven success influencing product decisions and roadmaps through market and customer insights

  • Exceptional storytelling skills — you know how to turn complexity into clarity

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning senior stakeholders

  • Experience with go-to-market strategies and leading product launches

  • You’re curious, analytical, and able to make progress even in ambiguous or emerging circumstances

  • You are enthusiastic about improving commercial aviation safety, efficiency, and wellbeing, especially for crew (pilots and flight attendants), crew managers, and operations personnel

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • This role requires that you have existing rights to work in Sweden

  • Fluent in English

  • Candidates typically have a Bachelor’s degree and about 10 years of experience in product management or product marketing in B2B software companies

  • The preferred candidate will likely have an extensive background working with skeptical customers and complex enterprise software. For example, ERP, MRP, BI, analytics, optimizers, data warehouses/lakes, and workflow

Why you’ll love working here:

  • High-impact role with direct influence on product direction and market success

  • A collaborative, creative team that values curiosity and candor

  • Opportunity to work on products that are transforming the aviation industry

  • Competitive salary, benefits, and a culture that supports personal growth

  • Breakfast every morning

  • Health insurance

  • Health care allowance and wellness activities

  • Personal development - including study groups, sponsored conference visits, books etc.

  • Hybrid workplace

  • Central location - just by the Central Station

  • Bike-friendly workplace - awarded by Gothenburg City
