Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist in Hazelwood, MO for the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program. The Tomahawk program is expanding to include additional US and foreign customers and will remain relevant for many more years. This position is essential for helping Tapestry Solutions and our customers navigate this expansion.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute CM throughout the project lifecycle, including development, migration, deployment, and security
  • Review, update, and implement processes for establishing and maintaining configuration planning and management, configuration identification, change management, status accounting, verification, and audit.
  • Oversee the daily management of configuration items
  • Review migration plans
  • Facilitation of audits related to configuration management
  • Maintain project schedule and coordinate audit support needed to deliver project on time
  • Coordinate implementation and deployment with user training and testing
  • Produce quantitative performance reports
  • Produce Version Description Documents (VDD) for delivered systems and software
  • Produce Configuration Management plans for multiple products
  • Manage the flow and disposition of artifacts, both source code and documentation
  • Maintain records, markings, and documentation of delivered system/software versions
  • Collect and verify system characteristics from program-specific mission systems (tracking/querying installed software versions, operating system versions, and configurations)
  • Provide software documentation and status accounting, including software trouble reports
  • Provide CM support for all TMPC components (hardware and software, including those from Co-Contractors) installed or delivered
  • Develop, build, test, and deploy complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions for a Azure Dev Sec Ops CI/CD pipeline to enhance the product's reliability and scalability
  • Ability to provide occasional off-hours support for urgent issues and project work which must be completed during specific windows to minimize user impact and ensure delivery schedules are met
  • Must be able to effectively complete simultaneous tasks on several projects with independent and dependent deadlines and deliverables

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree, or higher
  • Active US Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or better
  • 1+ years of experience with configuration management tools on complex IT projects
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Visual Studio, MS Build, and their internal tools, configurations, and commands
  • 1+ years of experience with Windows and Linux software installation
  • 1+ years of experience with scripting languages: Powershell, cmd, Bash, Perl, Regular Expressions
  • 1+ years of experience years of experience in Software Development
  • 1+ years of experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure CI/CD Pipelines
  • 1+ years of experience with Nessus ACAS, SCAP, WASSP, Fortify, SonarQube and other pertinent scans showing the software is free of CAT I and CAT II vulnerabilities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Ansible, Roxio and Winzip
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 1+ years of experience with ITIL Process Configuration
  • Expertise in system/processor architecture, desktop management interfaces, client/server architecture, operating systems, software applications, network protocols, routers, switches, remote access server, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewalls
  • Solid understanding of how various technologies fit together to deliver enterprise IT services including systems administration, service desk and network operations
  • Defining road maps for document management
  • Developing and deploying new document management tools
  • 1+ years of experience with CMMI and utilizing Azure Dev Ops to implement CMMI metrics tracking
  • 1+ years of experience with government DTA processes for classified environments to facilitate authorized routing, transfer, and management of data between different classification environments, on restricted, air-gapped, and classified networks
  • 1+ years of experience working on multi-disciplinary teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary base pay range $102,000 - $133,000.00
