Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Data Transfer Agent (Level 3) to support the Bombers & Fighters Proprietary Programs in Hazelwood, MO.

This position will be supporting a new and exciting program in the Air Dominance Division! This role will collaborate with engineering teams to review data and ensure release process compliance. This role will perform a security-relevant function in providing endpoint security during data transfers. This role will work with a variety of teams across the entire program. This is an important role that requires work to be performed onsite.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Data Transfer Agent to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, security and integrity of critical data.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable following structured processes to ensure accuracy and consistency. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for moving electronic data from one information system to another, generally with differing security domains.
  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain security compliance.
  • Follows established and approved processes which will vary based on the type of data transfer being performed and the information systems involved in the transfer.
  • Tracks, records and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure final products meet requirements and were conducted in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ensure the integrity of the data and information systems involved in daily transfer and prevent data spills from occurring.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
  • 3+ years of experience with computers, Microsoft applications and file systems/structures
  • 3+ years of experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner
  • 3+ years of experience working in an environment with competing and changing priorities
  • Understanding and comprehension of different file types

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Independent contributor, with some guidance
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, in any field.
  • Experience in IT or cyber security
  • Experience dealing with various classification levels and markings.
  • Experience working with multiple subject matter experts (SMEs) to facilitate data movement.

Typical Education & Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Summary pay range: $79,050 – $106,950
