The Boeing Company is looking for an Information TechnologyPortfolio FinancialAnalyst (Mid-Level, Senior or Lead) to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Plano, TX; Kent, WA; Seattle, WA; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Miami, FL; Ridley Park, PA; or Renton, WA.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a business operations specialist to join Information Digital Information and Security (IDT&S) organization and drive the strategic management of Information Technology (IT) budgets to ensure investments align with strategic objectives. The selected candidate will support a specific division of IT (e.g. Infrastructure, Security, Business Systems, Defense Systems, etc.), and will partner with Finance and IT department.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives

  • Manage financials for the division including developing and maintaining the 5-year long-range business plan, managing monthly opportunities and risks, and supporting funding decisions with data analysis

  • Own financial processes and outcomes, ensuring accountability for budget management and financial reporting accuracy

  • Develop and maintain monthly performance metrics and dashboards to track portfolio performance (budget vs actual) and inform decision-making

  • Optimize resource allocation across the division, ensuring that investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver maximum value

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed

  • Identify financial challenges and opportunities, developing innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency

  • Support organizational change initiatives related to portfolio management, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication throughout the process (e.g. budget transfers, increases, decreases)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience planning and managing a financial budget

  • 3+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements

  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining

  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 products, communication, and collaboration tools

  • Experience in project or program management

  • Experience in security, governance, risk, and compliance

  • Experience in budgeting and financial management

  • Experience managing global teams

  • Experience working in complex environments and matrix organizations

  • Experience in change management and organizational development

  • Experience being proactive, motivated, and initiating high-level tasks or projects independently with limited external direction or encouragement

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Level 3 (Mid-Level): $98,600 - $142,600

Summary pay range Level 4 (Senior): $117,300 - $170,200

Summary pay range Level 5 (Lead): $140,250 - $203,550
