Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Maintenance Controller to support our F-15SA Modifications team. The Maintenance Controller - F-15SA Modifications will play a key role in leading the execution and delivery of F-15SA aircraft modifications at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with Boeing standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.  

This is a long-term expatriate position based 100% on-site at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dharan Saudi Arabia.Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

This role reports to the Operations Manager – F-15SA Modifications.

(The selected candidate will be onboarded in alignment with program start and execution timelines; flexibility in start date and working hours may be required to meet operational demands).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Modification Execution: Working closely with the Operations Manager – F-15SA Modifications lead and control the modification process, prioritising safety, compliance, and quality across the team and department at all times.
  • Functional Integration: Lead functional execution and integration with the Program to ensure seamless operations that meets, or exceeds, the customers’ expectations and requirements.
  • Budget Management: Support the control of the budget within the reporting line and department, aligning with the overall business plan.
  • Oversight of Modifications: Acting as the team leader, oversee the execution of F-15SA modifications performed by the ICMMM team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and agreed timelines.
  • Audit Support: Facilitate internal, customer and regulatory audits, addressing findings and issues promptly.
  • Personnel Competence: Support the Operations Manager – F-15SA Modifications in ensuring that all personnel engaged in F-15SA modifications possess the necessary skills and competencies.
  • Staffing and Utilization: Monitor staffing levels and utilization of the ICMMM teams to meet business objectives and customer commitments.
  • Safety and Quality Culture: Foster a culture of safety, compliance, first-time quality, technical excellence, and product integrity, including the promotion of a FOD prevention program.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of standardization, LEAN and BPS principles to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication and flow of relevant information throughout the ICMMM team, including ownership of daily status reporting across stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Drive initiatives that promote production efficiency and innovation
  • Safety Reporting: Cultivate a reporting culture that prioritizes safety in accordance with Boeing's Safety Management System.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other reasonable management activities, including deputizing for the Operations Manager – F-15SA Modifications as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, MRO, or related production control environments, with demonstrable experience in planning and maintenance control
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience of F-15 Aircraft (or similar platform) modifications
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational Team Leader / Maintenance Controller role within an Aircraft Maintenance and Modification environment
  • Extensive working knowledge, experience and proven application of Aircraft Maintenance and Modification standards, requirements and associated regulations
  • Proven ability to sequence and control demanding workloads to schedule, budget, and required standard
  • Strong planning, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Hold an associated technical qualification in the field of Aircraft Maintenance and modification
  • Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia to Boeing and Saudi Arabia regulatory requirements

Ex-Pat Information:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $85,000 - $115,000.
