Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 or Level 4 Supplier Program Management Specialist to support the BDS Air Dominance Sheet Metal Commodity Contracting Team in Hazelwood, MO.

As a Level 3 or Level 4 Supplier Program Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in supporting technical and business activities to ensure supplier performance and contract execution, the evaluation of performance throughout all contract phases, and a continuous review and analysis of supplier capabilities. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure growth and management of the restricted supply base, troubleshoot production and development producibility engineering concerns, and manage complex supply chain activities.

Position Responsibilities (Level 3):

  • Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets.
  • Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases.
  • Conducts supplier assessments.
  • Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance.
  • Evaluates elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities (Level 4):

  • Leads technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments. Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Develops and executes work movement plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in engineering, mathematics, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 3+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
  • Experience leading or participating in supplier contract negotiations
  • Experience with pulling and analyzing system data
  • 3+ years of experience supporting sheet metal fabrication processes
  • 3+ years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $91,800 - $113,400

Level 4: $110,500-$136,500
