Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to support the Mid-Major Contracting, Air Dominance team in Hazelwood, MO!

The Mid-Level Procurement Agent will be responsible for managing the procurement process and procurement contracts supporting the Air Dominance organization for Fighters. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for aircraft production.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in the procurement cycle, including solicitation, source selection, negotiations, contract award, and post contract maintenance
  • Lead in negotiations for contract pricing and terms and conditions to achieve cost savings and value
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
  • Ensure contract compliance throughout the procurement cycle, including monitoring supplier performance and delivery schedules
  • Address and resolve procurement-related issues, including supply chain disruptions, quality concerns, and delivery delays. Implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
  • More than 3 year experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • More than 3 year experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
  • Experience working on a Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposal.

Travel:

Must be willing/able to travel up to 10% of the time.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $74,800 - $92,400
