The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Multi-Skilled Project Engineer (Senior Level) to become part of the Digital Transformation - Product Lifecycle Management team, located in Hazelwood, MO.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven team member to join our highly skilled cross-functional team, which is engaged in complex technical work in a fast-paced environment.

The Project Engineer will collaborate with various engineering teams to define, develop, and integrate the necessary Support & Services capabilities for the Sapphire system of systems. Sapphire introduces innovative capabilities that transform how we deliver value to our Government customers through seamless integration and digital threads. This role provides exposure to a diverse array of technical disciplines throughout all phases of the product life cycle, from design to delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical interface between BGS Engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to enable future capabilities into Sapphire IPDM and other environments
  • Provides engineering and integration leadership to teams across multiple skill areas, as well as varied internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and coordinate statements of work for multiple projects. Develop project plans and schedules, integrate business and technical requirements and architectures enabling creation and delivery of business solutions. Integrate with other bedrock systems as required to include Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning ERP)
  • Oversee project execution to completion. Monitor and report on cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure all program deliverables meet quality standards and are submitted on schedule
  • Organize, plan, and facilitate workshops to define and document future state system bedrock strategies and architectures, key design decisions, and detailed requirements
  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives to optimize organizational quality and project flow
  • Identify program risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Works under consultative direction
  • This position is 100% on-site 5 days a week
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 10+ years’ experience leading cross functional projects or teams
  • 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience   

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' experience as a technical leader in designing and developing solutions that span Systems Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, and/or Product Support Engineering
  • Previous experience in using Siemens Teamcenter, Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM)
  • Previous experience supporting Government focused Product Support and Services Engineering teams
  • Previous experience working development activities leveraging suppliers and/or purchase services

Summary Pay Range: $164,900 - $223,100
