Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Operations Manager to support the F-15SA program. The Operations Manager - F-15SA Modifications will be responsible for the execution and delivery of F-15SA aircraft Modifications on-site at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia according to Boeing and regulatory and customer requirements.

This role reports to the Senior Maintenance Manager – International Commercial and Military Modifications & MRO (ICMMM).

This will be a Long-Term Assignment to Saudi Arabia.Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the modification execution and delivery ensuring that Safety, Compliance and Quality across the team department is prioritized and maintained at all times
  • Support the functional execution and integration with Program
  • Responsible for budget control within their reporting line and department according to the business plan
  • Responsible for the execution of F-15SA Modifications performed by the ICMMM team
  • Maintain oversight of the F-15SA modification line at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
  • Support internal, customer and regulatory authority audits (as required) ensuring that all findings and issues raised are addressed in a timely manner
  • Ensure the ongoing competence of all personnel engaged in F-15SA modifications
  • Ensure staffing and utilization of the ICMMM teams meet business objectives and customer commitments
  • Be responsible for a culture of Safety, Compliance, First Time Quality, Technical Excellence and Product Integrity. This includes maintaining and promoting a FOD prevention program
  • Support the implementation of standardization, LEAN and BPS principles, in support of Boeing ICMMM objectives
  • Maintain excellent communication and flow-down of relevant information throughout the ICMMM team
  • Drive innovation to support production efficiency
  • Drive a reporting culture of safety first according to the Boeing SMS
  • Undertake any other reasonable management activities including deputizing for the Senior Maintenance Manager

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10 years of experience, preferably within an Aircraft Maintenance and Modification environment - extensive working knowledge, experience and proven application of Aircraft Maintenance and Modification standards, requirements and associated regulations
  • 5+ years demonstratable experience of F-15 Aircraft (or similar platform) modifications
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership role within a manufacturing/operations and production control/material management (Aircraft Maintenance and Modification) environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Hold a degree or associated technical qualification in the field of Aircraft Maintenance
  • Previous working experience in Saudi Arabia to Boeing and Saudi Arabia regulatory requirements

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on the requirements of the country.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Relocation:

Relocation benefits will be provided only for the international assignment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050.
