Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)Supply Chain team has multiple positions open for Supplier Program Management Specialists (Level 2, 3, or 4) to join our team in St. Louis, MO.  Come join us and be a part of the future of Aerospace!

Position Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills
  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
  • Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements
  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs
  • Manages team member relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments
  • Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of supplier recovery plans, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to team members

Associate, Level 2:

  • Supports technical and business activities to meet supplier performance targets
  • Supports the evaluation of performance throughout all contract phases
  • Supports supplier assessments
  • Assists in the review of current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance
  • Contributes to recovery, corrective and preventative action planning
  • Gathers data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities

Mid-Level, Level 3:

  • Provides technical and business support to meet supplier performance targets
  • Develops stakeholder relationships and evaluates performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts supplier assessments
  • Reviews current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance
  • Evaluates elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities

Experienced, Level 4:

  • Leads technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments
  • Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Develops and executes work movement plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, engineering, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain Management or Program Management
  • Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • 1+ years of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
  • 1+  years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

Export Control Requirement:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

  • Associate (Level 2): 72,000 - $84,000
  • Mid-Level (Level 3): $97,200 - $113,400
  • Senior (Level 4): $117,000 - $136,500

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
