The Boeing Global Services - Government (BGS-G) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Transformation organization are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Supply Chain Data Steward (Experienced or Senior) to join the S/4 HANA implementation Core Team.

The Supply Chain Data Steward (Experienced or Senior) is responsible for defining, governing, and maintaining high-quality supply chain master data to enable effective process execution and SAP system performance. This role serves as the business owner of supply chain data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability across planning, procurement, warehousing, and asset management. This position partners closely with functional SMEs, the SAP Data Migration Lead, and IT to ensure data supports enterprise processes during implementation and remains sustainable post go-live.

This great opportunity is for our location in Hazelwood, MO, Mesa, AZ or Fairfax, VA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with supply chain process owners (procurement, inventory, planning, logistics) to define required master data domains and attributes (Material Master, Business Partners / Vendor Masters, etc.).

  • Define, document, and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and metadata for ERP supply chain fields in coordination with Master Data Governance team

  • Ensure master data supports end-to-end process execution in SAP.

  • Partner with the SAP Data Migration Lead on data readiness, cleansing, validation, and cutover activities

  • Establish sustainable post–go-live data governance practices

  • Act as the primary bridge between business SMEs and IT for data-related topics

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinate with IT and integration teams on data extracts, transforms, and loads; escalate critical issues.

  • Train business users on master data standards and data entry best practices; act as a point of contact for data issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, ERP, or master data management

  • 7 or more years’ experience of supply chain master data domains: item master, supplier master, locations, BOM, routings, lead times

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, ERP, or master data management

  • Strong understanding of supply chain master data domains: item master, supplier master, locations, BOM, routings, lead times

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills across business and technical teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP Preferred), Masterdata Topics (preferably MDG), data profiling tools, SQL

  • Experience in driving process mapping for ERP implementation

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem solving.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to represent the business in technical and process design discussions

  • Experience working both independently and in team environments

  • Experience working with Supply Chain Processes

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 30% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:

Experience (Level 4) $118,150.00 - $171,350.00

Senior (Level 5) $146,200.00 - $211,600.00
