Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is currently seeking an AssociateProject Management Specialist (Level 2) to join the Manufacturing team located in Heath, OH.

This position will support the organization in managing small to moderately complex projects. The main responsibilities will include scheduling, managing, and tracking the performance of projects, creating presentations and briefing customers and senior leadership. The selected candidate must possess the ability to apply, understand, and implement projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK].

Position Responsibilities:

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
  • Track progress of cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Heath, OH.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • 3+ years of Experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management, or related experience
  • Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Experience in utilizing Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Capable in all Microsoft Office tools.

Conflict of interest:

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel: Some travel may be required up 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $76,500 - $103,500
