Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking highly motivated, creative and skilled candidates for an Entry-Level Fabrication Specialist - Hand Finisher to join our Boeing Titanium Finishing team located in Helena, Montana.

This role focuses on producing flight-critical, high-quality surface finishes on titanium parts used in commercial aircraft. The position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety conscious, and eager to learn hands-on fabrication and finishing techniques.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Hand finish and edge break of aluminum, stainless & titanium production parts.

  • Utilize and follow standardized work and step details required for production parts and assemblies.

  • Assists real time problem solving to understand and determine the true root cause to eliminate all defects and improve the product, process or system.

  • Assists and verifies that all parts are inspected prior to closing an operation so we do not pass on any defects to our downstream customers

  • Support a culture that is committed to continuous improvement

  • Hold ourselves and team accountable to Boeing Behaviors and Values

  • Be part of an environment of effective two-way communication (within team and across departments or shifts)

  • Function as a team to work together to meet daily performance targets and achieve higher levels of safety, quality, and efficiency

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1 + years of experience do you have utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 3 months experience in Aerospace, Mechanics, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary Pay Range: $45,000 – $46,000

Sign-On Bonus: External candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,500
