Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Inventory Planner (Level 3) to join our team in Hialeah, FL.

The Experienced Inventory Planner is responsible for executing demand and supply planning activities for assigned customers, products, or programs. This role owns planning execution, identifies risks, and drives cross-functional alignment for assigned areas. This position supports planning process consistency, mentors planners as needed, and leads focused planning efforts. This position focuses on strong execution, proactive problem solving, and effective coordination across stakeholders to ensure delivery and planning performance objectives are met.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Owns end-to-end demand and supply planning execution for assigned customers, products, or programs.

  • Develops and maintains demand forecasts using historical data, business inputs, and planning assumptions.

  • Identifies demand variability, supply constraints, and capacity risks; drives mitigation actions within assigned scope.

  • Leads cross-functional alignment for forecast updates and planning changes affecting assigned programs.

  • Conducts planning reviews and presents risks, assumptions, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Executes planning cadence activities including forecast updates, supply reconciliation, and performance tracking.

  • Serves as planning lead for smaller or moderately complex programs.

  • Supports resolution of planning issues by coordinating with Sales, Supplier Management, Product Line, and Operations.

  • Prepares and analyzes planning performance metrics including forecast accuracy and service levels.

  • Mentors planners informally and provides guidance on execution and stakeholder coordination.

  • Supports development and improvement of planning tools, templates, and reporting.

  • Collaborates with Business Intelligence teams to enhance reporting and reduce manual processes.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve execution efficiency and planning accuracy.

  • Supports leadership by escalating risks and providing recommendations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations

  • Experience executing planning activities for multiple programs or customers

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets and identify demand patterns

  • Experience with forecasting methods and planning assumptions

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools such as SAP, Blue Yonder, SPM, or equivalent

  • Ability to identify risks and support mitigation planning

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Experience presenting planning data and recommendations to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience leading smaller-scale planning efforts or projects

  • Informal mentoring or coaching experience

  • Experience supporting planning process improvements

  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented with ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $84,000 - $120,000
