The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Leave of Absence Integration and Systems Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX.

The Leave of Absence Implementation & Systems Specialist leads the design and operational integration of leave of absence programs and policies across the enterprise, including system integrations and vendor-delivered services. This role owns project plans, system requirements, testing, deployment and post‑implementation support for leave programs and system changes. The specialist partners with HR, Business Units, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation Policy, third‑party administrators, and IT to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable leave management solutions and to continuously improve processes and system performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of leave of absence policies and programs across business units, including development of project plans, schedules, statements of work and deliverables.
  • Define, document and validate technical and business requirements for leave system integrations and partner with IT and vendors to deliver integrations.
  • Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, UAT), data mapping and migration activities, and deployment plans for new or upgraded leave systems and integrations.
  • Ensure system configuration and program implementation support legal and policy compliance with federal, state and local leave laws (including FMLA and ADA).
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation Policy, Legal and other stakeholders to align business rules, eligibility logic and system workflows.
  • Monitor post‑implementation performance, create metrics and dashboards to measure service quality, identify root causes of issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct periodic audits and quality assurance reviews of leave transactions, system configurations and vendor activities to ensure policy adherence and regulatory compliance.
  • Advise management on application of leave policies and system capabilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information across systems and processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in leave administration, HR systems implementation or HR program management; experience with enterprise HRIS and leave management systems
  • Experience with cross‑functional system integration projects, including requirements gathering, SOW development, vendor oversight, testing and deployments
  • Experience with federal, state and local leave laws and regulations, including FMLA and ADA, and demonstrated ability to translate legal requirements into system and process controls.
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors and service level agreements; ability to evaluate vendor deliverables.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professional integrity.
  • Experience using problem solving skills and reporting tools to create operational metrics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience managing projects including developing project plans, timelines, resource estimates and risk/mitigation strategies.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and training delivery skills; ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and front‑line managers.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $158,750
