Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Base Specialist (Experienced) to join the newly developed and expanding Supply Base Capacity team based in Dallas, TX.

In this role, you will identify and resolve category-focused supply base challenges and risks across Commercial and Government aftermarket programs. You will collaborate with Boeing teammates across all Business Units (BCA, BDS, BGS) including Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Strategy, Supply Chain functional experts and Program leadership, as well as external suppliers and customers.   This role involves leading supply chain projects by gathering internal data, evaluating supplier capacity, developing data-driven initiatives, implementing action plans and ensuring governance to meet both immediate and long-term supply chain requirements.  Your efforts will help to ensure the holistic long-term requirements of our supply chain are satisfied.

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in project leadership, supplier development, capacity planning, and knowledge of technical requirements, with the strong ability to translate strategy into actionable execution.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate high-impact supply base risks in partnership across all Boeing business units and enterprise functions including, engineering, procurement, quality, strategy, supply chain functional experts and program leadership.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationship maps to enhance collaboration and communication.
  • Lead supplier capacity assessments, readiness reviews, and performance improvement initiatives for assigned commodities and categories,
  • Apply supply chain risk management and procurement best practices to ensure material availability and schedule compliance
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis, forecasting, and capacity modeling, including deep research of assigned commodities through interviews and information gathering, to align supplier output with program demand.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, engineering specifications, and material standards to evaluate supplier capabilities.
  • Design and implement supply chain stabilization plans in partnership with internal and external teams
  • Lead project management efforts from discovery to implementation, working closely with project managers to develop comprehensive project plans, consistently transitioning from strategy to execution
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and status updates with clear recommendations and measurable outcomes.
  • Support compliance with U.S. Government, ITAR, and aerospace quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement and supplier development
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive results.
  • Experience in supply chain capacity planning
  • Technical drawings experience
  • Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demand planning and forecasting experience
  • Raw materials knowledge and experience
  • Experience in aerospace or defense supply chains, including long-lead materials and complex assemblies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a global supply chain environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range : Mid-level (Level 3): $88,400 - $127,650
Senior level (Level 4): $102,850 - $148,350
