Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Level 3) to join our PAC-3 Program in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes
  • Provides concurrent engineering support
  • Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope
  • Reviews and approves technical documents
  • Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast
  • Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
  • Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects
  • Serves as primary interface with internal customers
  • Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization
  • Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
  • More than 3 years of experience with Boeing Production System (BPS)
  • More than 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • More than 3 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • More than 3 years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • More than 5 years of experience using strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $97,650

Security Clearance
