We are seeking a knowledgeable and Experienced Workplace Coaching Specialist (Level 3) to support our System Integration Inspector team in Huntsville, AL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coaching, training, and mentorship to inspectors engaged in the comprehensive inspection of mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts, assemblies, tooling, and software. This role will ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing System Integration Inspectors, focusing on inspection operations, first article inspections, and compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to team members in conducting inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Observe and assess employee performance during inspection operations, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Assist in defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inspection accuracy, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Ensure that all training and coaching activities are documented in accordance with applicable procedures and standards.
  • Support team members in understanding and adhering to technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical assistance in problem-solving during inspections and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and production workers to facilitate effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Monitor inspection processes for accuracy and compliance with established engineering processes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and recommend refinements to inspection practices.
  • Provide support in the setup and maintenance of logs, records, and reports related to training and inspection results.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and resources to enhance the skills of the System Integration Inspector team.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing inspection
  • Proven experience in inspection operations and familiarity soldering, electronic assemblies, and mechanical assembly operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team members effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under general supervision and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous experience in a coaching or training role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis techniques.
  • Certification in relevant safety and industry standards.

Summary pay range: $79,050 - $106,950 USD

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
