We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Military Spouse Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist as part of our larger Military-Connected & Veteran Program. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing global strategies that enhance recruitment, retention, professional development and overall experience of military spouses at Boeing. 

This role can be located at any of the following locations: Huntsville, AL; Arlington, VA; Everett, WA; Jacksonville, FL; Renton, WA; Mesa, AZ; Hazelwood, MO or San Antonio, TX.

This position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Military Spouse experience at Boeing, to include the Military Spouse Career Accelerator Program (MSCAP). This includes a full spectrum of experience of recruitment, onboarding, professional development, retention, and community engagement. This position requires a deep understanding of military family dynamics, exceptional program management skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to further the company’s goals of enhancing military spouse employment opportunities and promoting long-term career growth domestically and internationally.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage a robust military spouse recruiting and retention program strategy that includes innovative pathways from recruitment to full-time employment

  • Lead and execute the MSCAP, ensuring the smooth transition of military spouse fellows from onboarding to permanent placement within the company

  • Evaluate data to optimize Military spouses onboarding processes, including recruitment, selection, training, and retention strategies

  • Collaborate closely with the Human Resources and Veteran Programs teams to ensure alignment with overall talent acquisition

  • Serve as the internal point of contact for all military spouse hires, providing guidance, mentorship, and support through every phase of the employee lifecycle

  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key military affiliated industry organizations to enhance recruitment efforts and drive external talent pipelines

  • Engage with stakeholders, including senior leadership, talent acquisition, and military support organizations, to ensure the success of military spouse employment initiatives

  • Represent the company at military spouse and veteran career events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building the company’s brand as a top employer for military spouses

  • Develop comprehensive onboarding practices tailored to the unique needs of military spouses, ensuring seamless integration into the company culture and operations

  • Design and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover, focusing on career development, work-life balance, and addressing the challenges unique to military spouses and their families

  • Provide continuous support to military spouse employees through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and resources tailored to their specific needs

  • Advocate for military spouse employment within the company, driving awareness of the benefits of hiring military spouses at all levels of the organization

  • Develop and manage internal communications and messaging for the MSCAP, ensuring alignment with company values and highlighting the program’s impact on recruitment and retention

  • Coordinate and facilitate regular discussions, feedback forums, and career development workshops for military spouse employees

  • Promote Boeing brand messaging to external audiences through dynamic public speaking, large scale forums, panel discussions, and video conferencing

  • Track program performance, collecting and analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts

  • Report key metrics, including program participation, employee retention rates, and satisfaction levels, to senior management and stakeholders

  • Refine program strategies based on feedback, data insights, and evolving needs of military spouse employees

  • Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with military spouse programs

  • 5+ years of experience with project management

  • 5+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers

  • 3+ years of experience with federal and state-level military spouse employment laws and regulations

  • Willing and able to travel 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience within the aerospace industry

  • Possess an established network of industry contacts, including military spouse organizations, veteran groups, senior military leaders, and recruitment partners

  • Experience and understanding of military family dynamics and the unique challenges military spouses face in securing and maintaining employment

  • Experience with talent acquisition strategies, particularly related to recruiting military spouse candidates

  • Experience in developing and executing training programs, mentorship initiatives, and career development opportunities

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $99,450 - $157,000
