Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join the Boeing Global Supply Chain/Core Operation’s Team in either Huntsville, Alabama; Berkeley, Missouri; Everett, Washington; Mesa, Arizona; Ridley Park Pennsylvania or Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

This position within the Core Operations & Strategy, Compliance and Process Optimization team will be responsible for managing a team of procurement agents and procurement analysts. You will lead a fast-paced, dynamic team focused on PC Closeout and collaborate closely with divisional teams on Corrective Action Responses. In this role, you will drive resolution of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) through effective coordination with Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, and GSC&I representatives to ensure superior compliance and minimize future risks. Additionally, you will oversee the compliant and timely closure of purchase contracts in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, enhancing procurement lifecycle efficiency. Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience writing communications for senior executives and other leaders
  • More than 3 years of experience in team or project leadership
  • More than 3 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement related role (e.g. finance, compliance, contracts)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
  • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay ranges:

(MO; FL; AL; AZ) - $110,500 - $136,500

(WA; PA) - $118,150 - $145,950
