Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity to support the Phantom Works Team in Las Vegas, NV as a General Repair Technician!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains complex equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
  • Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components.
  • Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
  • Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
  • Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required.
  • Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians. Leads and directs the work of other technicians
  • Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. Works under general supervision
  • Works with minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years experience with the layout, mockup and fabrication of tubing systems
  • 3+ years of experience working with laser trackers or a CMM (coordinate measurement machine)
  • 3+ years of experience using 3D scanning equipment and/or traditional measurement tools
  • 3+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment highly preferred

Summary pay range: $82,450-$115,000 USD
