Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2)/Asset Manager.  In this role, the focus will be working on-site with a team of Supply Chain Specialists supporting the C-17 program. The candidate will interface with several functions on a daily basis to manage Supply Chain requirements.  Candidate will perform Supply Chain order execution, delivery management, and analyze data. This position will physically reside in Long Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities

  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment

  • Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders

  • General understanding of maintenance, modifications, retrofit processes and procedures.

  • Processes material returned from customers

  • Possess additional business and communication and looks for ways to provide continuous process improvement

  • Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance

  • Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related field

  • 3+ years of experience with reading engineering documents, drawings, engineering orders and understanding export/import regulations

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products like PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment

  • Ability to learn the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer system

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • ACCESS database desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

  • Experience with Aircraft Modification Programs

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and US Army or Marine Corps or Air Force supply, logistics data systems, maintenance data systems, US Army, Marine Corps field manuals and maintenance technical orders

  • Experience with the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer system

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range (Associate): $73,950 – $100,050
