The Boeing Converted Freighters team is seeking a motivated and agile SeniorProgram Management Manager to join its leadership team in either Seattle, WA or Long Beach, CA. The Program Manager will lead a new scope of work aimed to support how our customers use and operate their BCFs, to assist them with the entry into service, to listen how we can improve our overall BCF offering, and to translate those needs into actionable plans within the BCF program.  As such, this leader will have the responsibility to partner with other Program Management leaders when conversions transition into customer’s hands, to measure the success of our conversions in the customer’s eyes, to partner with our Fleet Chief Office and Customer Support Team to quantify improvement plans based on fleet data, and engage with Marketing and Business Development to ensure a that robust opportunities to improve customer’s experience operating a BCF are captured. 

As a member of the Boeing Converted Freighters leadership team within Boeing Global Services, you will be a part of an exciting and dynamic business that integrates the largest volume of passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversations annually.  We compete in the P2F market because we believe that our Boeing products make the best freighters and that as an OEM we can offer the best value and service to our customers and operators in this growing freighter segment!  Now, as the collective fleet of BCFs grows past 300 aircraft, it is imperative that this leader sets a vision for technical customer engagement, in-service support, and responsiveness to customer needs that only the Boeing Company can provide.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for emerging scope of work to ensure In-service success for customers operating all BCFs.

  • Partner and maintain strong relationships with Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Program Management, Customer Support, Fleet Chief Office, Sales, and other integrated teams to create and execute plans that support our customers obtaining maximum value from our BCF product.   

  • Participate with Customer Support and Marketing in customer reviews of fleet issues and corrective actions. 

  • Manage repairs and warranty issues associated with previously converted freighters.

  • Represent In-Service Success in future BCF Airplane Programs development cycles to ensure customer intelligence from in-service operations is voiced and embedded in the greater development plan. 

  • Communicate integrated performance across functions and to the Converted Freighters leadership. 

  • 30% travel

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: 168,300 – 227,700
