Boeing Global Services, Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-LevelIntegrated & Planning Scheduling Specialist (Level 3) to join the C-17 IP&S Team in Long Beach, CA. This role supports various C-17 programs and reports to the C-17 IP&S manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills which are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standard

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision maker

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a role requiring project scheduling / program management skills

  • 3+ years of experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management

  • 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience preparing and leading the completion of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) (Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), Contract Performance Report (CPR), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), etc.)

  • ​Experience using Milestones Professional

  • Experience with Agile / SAFe Methodology

  • Experience preparing for and supporting Integrated Baseline Reviews

  • Experience with resource loading project schedules (e.g. Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)

  • Experience with conducting Schedule Risk Assessments

Summary pay range: $93,500 – $126,500
