Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Senior Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Long Beach or Huntington Beach, California.

The selected candidate will be a key member of the Global Field Operations team in the California region. This data driven individual will act with a project management mindset while demonstrating experience working with cross-functional teams through excellent communication and presentation skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Document and participate in the implementation of lean improvements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Identify and participate in efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs and suppliers.
  • Design, extract, analyze and prepare reports to measure supplier and internal performance indicators.
  • Clean, analyze, and aggregate large datasets from multiple sources into consumable reports for the team.
  • Communicate organization initiatives, projects or procurement activities to internal stakeholders within the team, with cross-functional teams, and to executive leadership.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  •  3+ years of experience establishing relationships and strong on-going communication with
    internal customers, suppliers and/or vendors.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications
    (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across business units
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and
    process improvement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  •  Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain
    management
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and/or developing Key Performance Indicators
    (KPI) metrics
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing directly with suppliers
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Mid-Level (Level 3): $81,600- $100,800

Senior (Level 4): $100,300 - $123,900
