The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Computing Architect to join the team in Long Beach, CA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; or Seattle, WA

In this role, you will work closely with leaders from various business functions and Information Technology (IT) Product Support & Services to strategize, define and implement architecture solutions that deliver business value.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Publish and maintain strategic architecture roadmaps for the Integrated Logistics Planning and Management (ILP&M) Product

  • Provide oversight on incorporation of new/emerging technologies into roadmaps

  • Ensure consistent architectural approaches across the ILP&M Product for methods, tools, processes

  • Lead Application Rationalization initiative – Analyze & disposition applications (Go-Forward, Consolidate, Replace by Digital Transformation Bedrock) for the ILP&M Product

  • Develop and enhance partnerships with Product Support Leaders, Teams, Enterprise Architecture, Subsidiaries and Business Partners to align architecture strategy with Digital Transformation and other technology investments

  • Develop teammates through coach and mentoring

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with developing software with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and projects implementing Information Technology solutions for Engineering and Product support

  • 3+ years of experience in working with agile teams and agile software development

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional value stream stakeholders to resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology or related field experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional organizations

  • 5+ years of experience working with Executive leadership across IT services

  • 5+ years of experience in partnership and execution of projects working with global teams

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $172,550 – $249,550
