The Boeing Company's Evolved Strategic Satcom (ESS) team is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Earned Value Management (EVM) Financial Analyst to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This Financial Analyst will lead EVM efforts for the ESS program and partner with Integrated Product Team leads to provide Earned Value Management recommendations based on the Company's System Description (IPMM) and the program's Integrated Performance Management Plan (IPMP). The candidate must be able to communicate and present to executive leadership and help lead discussions to demonstrate the team's/program’s compliance with the EVM DFARS guidelines.

As an EVM Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with teammates across BDS to ensure consistent process interpretation and communication, including developing and sharing guidance and process updates. The position requires evaluating program process issues and recommending solutions, as well as providing training and coaching to CAMs and analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance and champion internal controls and procedures

  • Assist in coordination of DCMA surveillance activities

  • Review and analyze DCMA EVM Compliance Metric (DECM) results

  • Coordinate internal and external corrective actions to ensure closure

  • Assist in conducting internal program surveillance reviews

  • Perform data quality verification reviews

  • Provide and interpret guidance to ensure process compliance

  • Review Integrated Performance Management Plans (IPMPs)

  • Respond to program process questions

  • Assist in ensuring delivery of EVM training

  • Collaborate with teams across Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S), Financial Analysis, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Program Management, Contracts, Estimating, and Supply Chain

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and application of EVM principles

  • Experience communicating with government representatives and contractors

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Self-starter who is self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication and demonstrated ability to work with senior business managers

  • Ability to train the workforce in EVM principles

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $106,250 - $143,750
