Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Talent Acquisition (TA) Engineering team has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, California! Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Specialists to find the best fit for this position.

This role will be responsible for collaborating with Business Leaders and Human Resources (HR) Partners to develop and execute recruitment strategies that deliver engaging and personalized candidate experiences. Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand critical job requirements, create and implement candidate generation strategies, and deliver the best candidates for each open position

  • Leverage our Applicant Tracking System to create and publish requisitions, screen candidates, and assist in providing a smooth on-boarding experience

  • Partner and manage high-touch relationships with internal and external candidates and domestic hiring managers across multiple disciplines, locations and businesses

  • Understand and translate technical/functional hiring needs to ensure job descriptions, qualifications and requirements are effectively reflected in job postings

  • Utilize recruiting tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, HireVue and Avature

  • Search external resume databases proactively using Boolean search strings in a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) environment

  • Maintain pipeline of pre-screened candidates and continued contact with candidates to retain interest

  • Provide proactive and consistent communication with business partners to drive the process, provide status and ensure successful hire within the expected timeline

  • Participate in recruiting events as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 3+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting (screening, and closing both internal and external candidates)

  • 3+ years of experience sourcing talent using a variety of tools including LinkedIn and professional networks, Boolean searches, and other social media tools

  • 3+ years of experience building relationships with business partners, human resources and internal recruiting / staffing teams and candidates

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Active US Security Clearance

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience recruiting candidates with active security clearances

  • Experience with Workday

  • Experience with Tableau

  • Experience with high-volume recruiting

  • Experience negotiating compensation with business partners and candidates

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $87,550 - $129,000
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $106,250 - $157,000

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
